Carl Gene Mason of Stroud, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at his home on January 7, 2024, at the age of 90.
He was born November 25, 1933, in Calumet, Oklahoma, to Thelma Mae Mason and Loren Lee Mason.
He was married toViola Mason, Stroud’s finest pie maker.
Carl had many achievements. He graduated from Weleetka High School and started a career in the trucking industry. He was the safety supervisor at American Farm Lines and the manager of transportation at United Crude and Hadson Fuels. Carl retired from Miller Truck Lines in 2010 after many years as the safety director and fuel manager.
Carl was a devoted Christian and read his Bible daily. He was always sharing the wisdom of the Bible, especially concerning biblical prophecy.
Survivors are his wife Viola; sons Curtis Mason and wife Linda, and Greg Mason and wife Cindy; daughter Diana Stobaugh and husband John; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members.
Graveside services for Carl will be held at the Stroud Cementary on Feb. 10, 2024.
