Mysti Dawn Pierce

Mysti Dawn Pierce was born March 5, 1966, at Stroud, Oklahoma, to Judy Hixon Bartel and Gary Cochran and passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 60.

Mysti was a resident of the Watonga community for most of her life. She attended Watonga Schools and earned a bachelor’s degree from SWOSU in early childhood education. Mysti taught at Milwood Schools, CashionSchoolsandtaught at Hinton Prison.

She attended the Oasis Church and the Christian Church in Watonga. Mysti loved music, dancing, singing, and watching her kids play sports when they were growing up. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Karlie Pierce, her son, Chris Cline, her brother Brian Cochran, bonus mom Margaret Cochran and nephew, Stephen Cochran.

Mysti is survived by one daughter, Mandy Pierce of Watonga, Oklahoma, one sister, Ronda Driever and husband Kenny of Hitchcock, Oklahoma, her father, Gary Cochran and bonus mom, Dawn of Stroud, Oklahoma, and mother and stepfather, Judy and Norman Bartel of Fairview, Oklahoma. Seven grandchildren, Bailey Cline, Kenzie Fisher, Kaylie Pierce, Kyler Cline, Kamri Pierce, Jase Pierce, and Oma Cline and two great grandchildren, Bentley Neeley and Kasen Neeley Funeral services for Mysti were held Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Nazarene Church in Watonga,withRev.Dwight McGee officiating. Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Watonga, OK. Wilkinson Mortuary of Watonga is in charge of arrangements.
