Glenn L. Pettitt

Glenn L. Pettitt of Meeker was born Nov. 23, 1938, near Elk City, Okla. He died Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at the age of 81 years.

Pettitt, the son of Clayton and Edith (Bryant) Pettitt, married Norma Winter on Jan. 30, 1960, in Meeker.

A 1956 graduate of Elk City High School, he worked for various airlines retiring from Delta at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City. He was an active member of Meeker Assembly of God.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his brothers Don and Ronnie and his daughter Samantha.

Survivors include his wife Norma Pettitt of Meeker; three sons and daughters-in-law, Les and Rita Pettitt of Bethany, Okla., Larry and Lisa Pettitt of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Darren and Paula Pettitt of Trophy Club, Texas; two daughters Evonda and Dolly of Seminole, Okla.; his sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Dwayne Clinton of Springdale, Ark.; numerous grandchildren; and other family and friends.

Services were held Friday, June 19, 2020, at Meeker Assembly of God.
