New Nat’t Guard sign unveiled

An Oklahoma National Guard Heritage Trail sign was unveiled on Saturday, June13, near Tilghman Park in Chandler. The six-by-four-foot sign contains photographs and information on the State Camp, Maneuver Grounds and Rifle Range in the area, and how all the spaces looked in 1909.

CMA awards sewerline project to Orr Construction

The Chandler Municipal Authority awarded a sewer line project worth $507,902 to Orr Construction at its regular meeting on June 9.The project is part of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s (OTA) expansion of theTurnerTurnpike and involves the relocation of sewer lines.

Oklahoma Baptist University releases honor rolls

Oklahoma Baptist University has released its honor roll lists for the spring semester.To make the President’s Honor Roll, students must have completed at least 12 semester hours and maintained a grade point average of 3.7 with no grade lower than a B.
