Chandler Chamber of Commerce meeting

The monthly Chandler Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon will be 12 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 10, at the Route 66 Interpretive Center. The caterer will be Big Willy’s. A representative from the Lincoln County Health Department will update attendees on the health of Chandler and Lincoln County.

Arraignment set for Edmond man in fatal crash

An arraignment has been scheduled for a driver charged with manslaughter in the traffic death of a Stroud woman in 2020. Jessie O. Hardridge, 42, of Edmond, was charged June 22, 2020 in Lincoln County District Court with first degree manslaughter, a felony, in the death of Wendi Wright, 41.

Warrant issued in food stamp case

A $10,000 bench warrant that was issued for a Chandler woman who is charged with obtaining food stamps by fraud, has been returned and filed. Valerie Marie Cox, 47, was charged July 8 in Lincoln County District Court with the felony.
