1. Update on “Quapaw 15 Project/Meeker Lake: A. Surveyors are still at Lake resurveying. 2. Updates on Glenn Crest Park: A. Pour #3 has been completed for the parking lot. This is the North & South side of the parking lot. B. Both center sides have been formed and rebar in place.

Stroud Auxiliary meets

The Stroud American Legion Auxiliary met Monday, Nov. 9. Members attending were Julie Bivin, Linda Waller, Pam Hunt, Aleta Smalley, Delores Hamlin, Diana Reed, Cindy Mason, Sandy Jones, Jo Braden, Cathy Terry and Marsha Morgan.

Warhol garden

Kindra wanted to get some purple sweet potatoes on Saturday, so we set off for the wilds of Oklahoma City, where a health food store had them for about $1.50 a pound. We bought five or six big ones, enough for a pie or two and some extras for eating.
