Dirt work has started at the location of the new high school building in Prague. The new building will be 41,982 square feet and is expected to stay under about $18 million of the bond funds. Construction began in July 2025, after a bond was passed in April 2024. The building will contain 22 classrooms, a Family and Consumer Sciences classroom and kitchen, science lab, an art studio, two teacher workrooms, special education space, a new library and alternative education space. Prague is set to get a brand new high school.Construction began on the new over 40,000-square-foot facility in July 2025, according to Superintendent Kimberly Fleak, and should be completed in about two and a half years.
