Stroud’s Tree Lighting Ceremony is an event for the whole family to enjoy. It will take place this Saturday, November 16th, at 6:00 p.m. in Ed. Smalley Centennial Park.The full event will last from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Vendors and food trucks will be set up along Main Street.

The Stroud Tigers HS football team has a record for the 2024 season that is 10 wins and zero losses through week 10. This is the first time for a record like this in quite a while. A metropolitan paper had Stroud rated No.

Ex-sub found guilty

By Mike McCormick Staff Writer A Lincoln County jury has found a former Wellston substitute teacher guilty on two counts and not guilty on three and fixed punishment at three years on each of the guilty counts.

Prague man waives hearing

A Prague man has waived his preliminary hearing on a charge of felony assault and battery charge following a reported altercation with his girl friend.Trevor Wade Mills, 23, was formally charged in Lincoln County District July 10 this year with domestic assault and battery by strangulation.
