Lady Lion golfers qualify for state

Chandler’s girls golf team shot a season-best 366 Monday at Riverside Golf Course in Clinton and qualified for the Class 3A state tournament.The state tournament will be May 4-5 at The Territory Golf and Country Club in Duncan.

The Town of Davenport took in less than half of its collections, according to Treasurer Whitney Clanton, at its regular meeting on April 14.During her report, Clanton said the total due is $32,928.63, but they were only able to collect $11,857.
