A Shawnee woman faces a felony count of driving while under the influence of alcohol following her arrest this month in Prague.Formal charges were filed Jan. 6, 2025 in Lincoln County District Court against Angelina Elaine Bell, 26.

Dale High School’s Pirates captured their fourth straight state championship Saturday, overwhelming Pocola 60-20. The Pirates held Pocola to only seven points in the entire first half. Dale’s girls were looking for a repeat championship, but lost to Oklahoma Bible in the semifinals.
