Barbara Agnes McCoy was born February 16, 1937, in Yale, Okla., and died Sunday, August 30, 2020, at her home in Luther, Okla. She was 83 years old. McCoy, the daughter of James Edward and Bertha Agnes (Johnson) Akins, married Bill McCoy on March 3, 1954.

COVID-19 numbers reach 300

The number of people testing positive for COVID-19 in Lincoln County has bumped to the 300 mark this week. In Lincoln and Pottawatomie Counties, the positive numbers combined now stand at 1,175 as of Tuesday, according to the Oklahoma State Department of of Health.
