We were having trouble coming up with something Grandson Bennett would eat for breakfast. He doesn’t like scrambled eggs. Or cereal that isn’t highly sugared. Or biscuits. Or pancakes. He is living with us these days, so it was becoming a problem finding menu choices that he would eat.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and donated to Wreaths Across Stroud. It was a wonderful tribute to our deceased veterans. The American Legion Auxiliary could not have undertaken this project without the help of each of you.

Letter to the editor

Dear editor, I can not understand the thought process in the Gaza, preceding the attack by Hamas on Israel last month. The Palestines, a society that can not feed their people, militarily attack Israel, possibly the best prepared military on earth!

Congratulations to Stroud Chamber of Commerce and City of Stroud on a great Christmas parade. Everyone enjoyed the parade and gave it rave reviews. The Christmas spirit was definitely alive and well in Stroud. The Illuminated Elf theme was a huge success.
