Remembering the good times

I was looking at a photo on the bookcase in our house this week that my wife had framed some time back. Not sure when we retrieved it from my parents’ house. It was sometime after either dad died in 1988 or my mother’s passing in 2013.

Happenings at Prairie Pointe

The Prairie Pointe family has welcomed Leon Williams as the newest member of our family. Leon was born and raised in Stroud by his mom Edith and stepfather Woodrow Sosbee. His real father died when he was two years old.

I read over the holiday that bluegrass guitar player and singer Tony Rice died. It was a sad day for bluegrass fans in general and guitar players in particular.

Christmas Day 2020 is tomorrow. This is the time to be merry, it’s the time to be jolly. It’s also the time to be spiritual, as local pastors frequently remind us is the reason for the season. This calendar year with the COVID Pandemic and all won’t be forgotten by most people on earth today.
