Bench warrant issued for no-show suspect

A $20,000 bench warrant has been issued for a Midwest City man who failed to appear for his court hearing on three felonies following a Lincoln County shooting near Wellston in February that injured a person. Casey Mac Wilson, 42, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court on Feb.

Marijuana hearing continued

Preliminary hearings for two men from Okmulgee arrested by Lincoln County deputies and charged with cultivating a Controlled Dangerous Substance have been continued. The deputies reportedly seized 386 marijuana clone plants. Quing Li Zheng, 55, and Wei Goa, 41, were each charged Nov.

A sentencing date has been set for an Oklahoma City biker who was convicted last month of first degree manslaughter in the shooting death of a Midwest City man in September of 2021.

Meeker settles damages

Meeker’s Town Board of Trustees this week approved several checks for settlements from damage due to storms and also approved the purchase and installation of two new air conditioning units for the Police Department. Trustees approved a franchise check from OG&E in the amount of $29,681,25.

Shots fired at officer

A Chandler man who is suspected of shooting at a tribal officer during a traffic stop is in the Lincoln County Jail in Chandler after his family reportedly brought him there. Lincoln County Sgt. Aaron Bennett identified the suspect as Shelton James Sutton, Jr., 30.
