Meeker keeps administrators

Meeker’s Board of Education this week voted to offer contracts to four administrators for the 20232024 school year and accepted the retirements of two elementary teachers.

Meeker man in court on arson charge

A Meeker area man charged with arson following his arrest recently by an agent with the State Fire Marshal’s Office has made a further initial appearance. Youlha Rhodes, 39, was formally charged in Lincoln County District Court Jan. 13 with second degree arson.

Charges in rape case

A Chandler man faces multiple rape charges after he was arrested recently by Lincoln County deputies. One count of first degree rape, two counts of second degree rape and one charge of forcible oral sodomy were formally filed in Lincoln County District Court Jan. 9 against Dazshawne Stapp, 25.
