Hearing set for Sparks man accused of four felonies

A pre-preliminary hearing has been scheduled for a Sparks man who faces four felony counts and two misdemeanors. Formal felony charges were filed May 4 in Lincoln County District Court against James Leonard Smothers, 41 following his arrest recently by Lincoln County deputies.

Driver faces third DUI after Meeker arrest

Averie Rayne Gretlein was born on Groundhog Day February 2, 2012 in Oklahoma City to Chelsea (Brewton) Ross and Skylar Gretlein. She passed away September 30, 2022 at the young age of 10. Little Averie had an infectious smile that lit up the room.

David Michael Toumbs was born December 16, 1947 in Dallas, Texas to Samuel David and Vivian Pearl (Duncan) Toumbs. He passed away September 24, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 74. Mike served his country in the United States Army which included a tour in Vietnam.
