A funeral service will be held for Douglas Leon Barnes of Hutchinson, Kan., at 10 a.m., Friday, October 29, 2021, at New Hope Baptist Church in Hutchinson. Burial with military honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Elliott Mortuary of Hutchinson.

Leonard Daniel Westfall

Leonard Daniel “Dan” Westfall of Perkins, Okla., was born November 3, 1932, in Friona, Texas. He died Wednesday, October 20, 2021, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 88 years. Westfall, the son of Leonard G. and Bessie E. (Hagar) Westfall, married Edna Kendrick on August 31, 1957.

Charles Fredie Paterson

Charles “Pat” Fredie Paterson was born December 6, 1941, in Corning, Ark., and died Monday, October 25, 2021. He was 79 years old. Paterson, the son of Jake and Dorothy (Helms) Patterson, married Ardith Dingman on September 17, 1971, in Missouri. He worked as a truck driver for Millers Truck Line.

Melfouse Thomas Corter

Melfouse Thomas Corter was born January 31, 1935, in Cushing, Okla. He died Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Newalla, Okla., at the age of 86 years. Corter, the son of Johnny Thomas and Rosa Ellen Carmichael Corter, was married to Nola Mae Clayton on September 1, 1956, in Oklahoma City.

Deborah LeeAnn Milam

Deborah LeeAnn (Speer) Milam was born May 22, 1958, in Oklahoma City. She died Friday, October 22, 2021, in Wellston at the age of 63 years. Milam, the daughter of Paul and Patricia (Mincks) Speer of Wellston, married Earl Roe in 1976. She later married Ted Milam Sr.

Tom Hammock

Tom Hammock was born August 14, 1936, in Wink, Texas. He died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in Broken Arrow, Okla., at the age of 85 years. Hammock, the son of Victor Hammock and Ada Douglas, married Sammie Donnelly of Cleveland, Okla., on March 1, 1956.

Mary Lillian Bookout

Mary Lillian (McDonald) Bookout of Wellston was born November 19, 1946, in Oklahoma City and died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, in Wellston. She was 74 years old. Bookout, the daughter of Charles and Lillian (Eads) McDonald, married Ibrey Bookout on April 27, 1996.
