Ruby Jo Potts was born to Joseph Perry Kincaid and Ruby May Pitts on October 23, 1936, in Antlers, Okla.
She died Tuesday, September 15, 2020, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 83 years.
Potts was preceded in death by her parents; her son Eulice Ray Mann; three brothers, Charles, Perry and William; her sister Joyce; and one greatgrandchild.
Survivors include four sons, Roy Mann of Oklahoma City, Paul Potts and spouse Bobbie Jo, and Timothy Nelson, all of Shawnee, and Joseph Potts of Norman, Okla.; three daughters, Mary Nelson of Oklahoma City, Sybil Bowen and spouse Michael of Shawnee, and Cheryl Nelson of Bethany, Okla.
She is also survived by two sisters, Wilma Schmidt of Metamora, Ill., and Margie Tompkins of Antlers, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held Monday, September 21, 2020, at Riverside Cemetery in McLoud, Okla. Services were under the direction of Brown’s Family Funeral Home.
