A Dale High School junior, who is no stranger to winning, has captured a couple more major awards showing her cattle. Morley Griffith, 17-year-old daughter of Matt and Twana Griffith, recently showed the Grand Champion Red Angus at the Tulsa State Fair.

Lincoln County deputies arrested a man who allegedly held a shareholder of a marijuana grow operation at gun point and robbed him of a thousand dollars. The man now faces two felony charges.

Football playoffs

Chandler, Davenport, Stroud and Prague will be in the high school football playoffs, which start Friday night. Chandler will host the Perry Maroons and Prague will travel to Oklahoma Christian for the Class 2A playoffs.
