Commissioners approve 25/26 budget

Lincoln County commissioners have approved 2025-2026 budget numbers and sent them to the budget maker. Their action came last week during a lengthy special meeting.The budget numbers total $15,915,594.20.

Wellston FFA hosts trophy auction

The Wellston 4H and FFA Booster Club hosted their annual trophy and benefit auction Saturday, October 11th. There were nearly one hundred and fifty community members in attendance, raising over $25,000 to supportWellston 4H and FFA members.

Chandler’s fastpitch team and drama department are headed for state competitions. The Lady Lions swept Jones in their fastpitch Super regional and will play Sequoyah-Tahlequah at noon Thursday in the state tournament. A Meeker man faces a first degree manslaughter charge after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a fatal multiple traffic collision in Lincoln County in late August.Michael Lee Angel Figueroa, 31, was charged in Lincoln County District Court Oct.
