Wellston man to serve 15 years for felonies

A Wellston man who recently entered a blind guilty plea to five felonies has been handed a state prison sentence.Michael Allen Kulp, 40 at the time he was charged in Lincoln County District on Dec. 9, 2022, appeared before District Judge John John Cananvan for sentencing.

Federal indictment for Sparks man

A federal grand jury has indicted a Sparks man who already is sitting in the Lincoln County Jail facing three felonies that were filed against him last July.The grand jury recently issued a four-count indictment against Stephen Charles Graham, 61.

Deferred sentences in pot case

Two men from Okmulgee who were scheduled to stand trial during the upcoming jury term have pleaded no contest to reduced charges and drawn deferred terms.Lincoln County deputies arrested the two in November of 2022 The deputies reportedly seized 386 marijuana clone plants.
