Services for Carl Jay Cornett, 70, of Meeker were held Monday, August 24, 2020. The service was held at First Baptist Church in Meeker, where Pastor Joe Jones officiated. Burial followed at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker. Mr. Cornett recently left his earthly home for his heavenly mansion.

Cynthia Diane McElroy was born to Bobby Gene Richardson and Para Lee Louise (Franklin) Richardson on November 18 1953, in Chandler. She died Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the age of 67 years. McElroy retired from the City of Chandler working as the Court Clerk.

Georgia Flodell Santin

Georgia Flodell Santin was born July 24, 1917, in Seagoville, Texas. She died Sunday, August 23, 2020, in Chandler at the age of 103 years. Santin, the daughter of James and Rhoda (Thornton) Carder, married Adolph Henry Santin in 1935. She was of the Baptist faith.

Ernest Darrell Fent

Ernest “Ernie” Darrell Fent was born to Adolphus Clayton and Minnie Loraine (Bailey) Fent on July 22, 1947, in Wellston. He died Wednesday, August 19, 2020, in Chandler at the age of 73 years. Ernie grew up in Wellston and Jones, Okla., where he graduated from high school in 1965.

Elania Scribner

Graveside services will be held for Elania Scribner at 10 a.m., Friday, August 28, 2020, at New Zion Cemetery in Chandler. Final arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler. A full obituary will be published in next week’s issue of The Lincoln County News.

Jeremiah Silas Martin

Jeremiah “Sy” Silas Martin was born January 2, 1976, in Clovis, N.M. He died Sunday, August 9, 2020, in Stroud at the age of 44 years. Martin served in the United States Navy and was an oil field operator. His father John Stanley Martin preceded him in death.

Don McCollough

Don McCollough was born April 7, 1937, in Shattuck Okla. He died Friday, August 14, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 83 years. McCollough, the son of W.D. and Ida (Appel) Mc-Collough, married Marilyn Ann Forester on July 24, 1960, in Arnett, Okla.

Donna Sue Hancock

Donna Sue Hancock of Wellston was born June 25, 1951, in Oklahoma City. She died Sunday, August 16, 2020, at the age of 69 years. Hancock, the daughter of Paul and Virginia Larkin, married Ronal Hancock February 23, 1974, in Oklahoma City. She graduated from high school in 1969 in Pryor, Okla.

Douglas Ben Castleberry

Douglas Ben Castleberry (Doug) 63, passed from this life on August 15, 2020 in Stroud, Oklahoma. He was born in Cushing, Oklahoma on October 18, 1956 to Charles Ben and Etta Mae (Winkleman) Castleberry. Doug grew up in and around Stroud and graduated in 1974 from Davenport High School.
