Life long Chandler resident John Farmer Calvin was born to John and Viola Calvin on July 19, 1942, in Chandler. He died Friday, May 15, 2020, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 77 years. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother George Calvin.

Dorthy Rilla (Kirkpatrick) Taylor was born August 18, 1932, in rural Lincoln County. She died Monday, April 27, 2020, at the age of 87 years. Taylor, the daughter of Lawrence and Pearl (Moore) Kirkpatrick, married Billy D. Taylor on December 30, 1950.

Virginia Ann Pepper

Virginia Ann (Hipsley) Pepper of Chandler was born June 15, 1953. She died Friday, May 1, 2020 in Oklahoma City after a lengthy battle with Covid-19. She was 66 years old. Pepper, the daughter of Dale and Leone (Dickson) Hipsley, married Thomas “Tom” J. Pepper on November 12, 1971.

Wendi Jo Wright

Wendi Jo Wright of Stroud was born September 14, 1978, in Stroud. She died Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in a car accident at the age of 41 years. Wright, the daughter of David and Jodi (Banta) Glisson of Stroud, married Randle E. Wright on July 28, 2000 in Miami, Okla.

Robert Everett Cross

Robert “Bob” Everett Cross was born April 16, 1930, in Payne County, Okla. He died Saturday, April 25, 2020, at his home in Davenport. He was 90 years old. Cross, the son of Arthur and Alma (Wright) Cross, married Edna M. (Gibson) Cross on October 12, 1957, in Davenport.

Doris Ann Taylor

Doris Ann Taylor was born June 19, 1943, and died Wednesday, April 29, 2020. She was 76 years old. Taylor is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Danny and Shannon and Larry; three grandchildren and their spouses; five greatgrandchildren; and other family and friends.

Long-time Chandler resident Larry Dean Miller was born September 15, 1947, in Chandler. He died Thursday, April 23, 2020, in Chandler at the age of 72 years. Miller, the son of George Albert and Frances Helen (Baker) Miller, married Glenda Helm Miller on December 22, 1967, in Chandler.

Roy Alfred Clark

Roy Clark was born November 11, 1954, in Hutchinson, Kan. He died Saturday, April 18, 2020, at the age of 65 years. Clark, the son of Richard and Margret Clark, married Oneta Clark on October 4, 2019. He worked as a truck driver.

Phyllis Jean Munson

Phyllis Jean Munson of Stroud was born April 9, 1949, in Winfield, Kan. She died Monday, April 20, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 71 years. Munson, the daughter of Alexander and Betty (Barnickle) Anderson, married Ray E. Munson on May 21, 1966, in Winfield.
