Putt Putt Kicks on Route 66 Grand Opening is this Saturday, July 30th from 5 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. There will be $2.00 miniature golf for everyone as well as free hot dogs, door prizes and lawn games. Chips, soda pop, water, candy bars and Johnny Freezes will be available to purchase.

Fatal collision on turnpike

A Missouri woman died and another woman was injured in a traffic collision involving three vehicles early Tuesday on the Turner Turnpike west of Stroud, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Indicted officials make court appearance

Meeker rates increase

Meeker’s Town Board of Trustees this week, meeting as the Public Works Authority, approved a rate increase from Central Disposal. With the increase, the Town will pay $11.20 for one polycart with once a week residential curbside pickup and $1.25 for once a month curbside bulky waste collection.

Lincoln County Commissioners

Lincoln County commissioners this week once again discussed requested projects to be paid for with ARPA funds but held off attempting to prioritize them at this point. The numerous requests total several million dollars.
