Town Talk along with the American Legion and the American Legion Auxiliary will hold a Memorial Day Ceremony at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 25th at the Stroud Cemetery. There will be a short program and a 21-gun salute to honor our deceased veterans.

Warrant issued for driver in wrong-way case

A bench warrant has been issued for a driver who was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol and was driving the wrong way on Interstate 44 in Lincoln County, causing a traffic collision with a semi-tractor truck. The $20,000 warrant was issued June 30 for Corey Lon Butler, 47, of Ardmore.

Trail set for Harrah couple charged with abuse

Jury trials have been scheduled for a Harrah pair charged with multiple child sexual abuse crimes following their arrest earlier this year. Jeremy C. Barnes, Sr., 36 and Amanda D. Bond-Langston, 32, waived their preliminary hearings.
