We kept the grandson Liam this past weekend for parts of two days and a night and Pat and I both were really tired Sunday evening. But it’s a good tired. It’s such a pleasure to have him around and we know that keeping him gives our daughter Meghan and son-in-law Terry a little break.

Deputy assessors head east

It provides Meg and Deputy Assessors will be in Stroud, Davenport and Kendrick next week to take exemption applications and personal property assessments according to Jackie Holcomb, Lincoln County Assessor. Assessment business can be done at Stroud City Hall on 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m.

DUI charge filed

A driver from Davenport has been charged with felony driving while under the influence of alcohol following his arrest by a Lincoln County deputy sheriff last month.

Charges filed in Meeker abduction

An Oklahoma City man faces four charges, two felonies and two misdemeanors, following an alleged abduction of a Meeker woman in early December who also reportedly was pushed from a moving vehicle. Curtis Leumell Cole, 32, was formally charged last month on Dec. 21 in Lincoln County District Court.
