Ila Verne (Geis) Clark was born October 24, 1927 in Gotebo, Okla., to Edward and Anna (Wiebe) Geis. She passed away May 26, 2020 in Harrah at the age of 92. Ila lived through the great depression, which made her very frugal.

A memorial graveside service will be held for Freddie Leon Lynch at 2 p.m., today, June 4, 2020, at the Davenport Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston. Lynch was born June 20, 1937, in Drumright, Okla.

Felix Rubio

Felix Rubio of Stroud was born to Ben Sr. and Hilde Elvira (Spachman) Rubio on July 24, 1956, in Dallas, Texas. He died Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at the age of 63 years. Felix served in the United States Army as a senior buyer for L3 communications.

Juanita Sue Williams

Juanita Sue Williams was born to Raymond Sr. and Jessie Oneida (Westlake) Phillips on March 21, 1945, in Deport, Texas. She died Wednesday, April 15, 2020, in Oklahoma City at the age of 75 years. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m.

John Farmer Calvin

Life long Chandler resident John Farmer Calvin was born to John and Viola Calvin on July 19, 1942, in Chandler. He died Friday, May 15, 2020, in Shawnee, Okla., at the age of 77 years. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother George Calvin.

Dorthy Rilla Taylor

Dorthy Rilla (Kirkpatrick) Taylor was born August 18, 1932, in rural Lincoln County. She died Monday, April 27, 2020, at the age of 87 years. Taylor, the daughter of Lawrence and Pearl (Moore) Kirkpatrick, married Billy D. Taylor on December 30, 1950.

Virginia Ann Pepper

Virginia Ann (Hipsley) Pepper of Chandler was born June 15, 1953. She died Friday, May 1, 2020 in Oklahoma City after a lengthy battle with Covid-19. She was 66 years old. Pepper, the daughter of Dale and Leone (Dickson) Hipsley, married Thomas “Tom” J. Pepper on November 12, 1971.
